Game developer studio, Hudson Soft, officially declared their doomed by March 2012. The studio will be merged into a part of Konami Digital Entertainment.

Studio that was founded in 1978 chose to carry out a merger with Konami by agreement which made on January 12, 2012. All of the assets or shares which own by Hudson will become the property of Konami.

In documents which concerning with the merger agreement, the underlying reasons for Hudson to end their history is to build a more flexible production system.

Currently, Hudson Soft is concentrated in mobile phone content. With this merger, Konami is expected to take advantage of achievements that have been taken by Hudson and took further development.

At the beginning of its establishment, the studio was known for such game series, Bomberman and Bloody Roar fighting series.

Signals from the loss of Hudson’s studio has been read since last year when they chose to close the division in the United States in March 2011.

Through a tweet on their official account, Hudson said goodbye to their fans.
