Lenovo K91, The First Smart TV Which Already Used Android 4.0 And Voce Command
Lenovo is known as a manufacturer of computer, they’re trying their luck in the television business. Lenovo has just introduced a 55 inch smart TV named Lenovo K91, which will use the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
K91 will be introduced by Lenovo in the Consumer Electronics Show 2012 in Las Vegas, January 10th to 13th, 2012. K91 will become the first TV which adopt Android operating system.
This TV will use Ice Cream Sandwich UI interface that is able to handle video on demand feature, internet applications and regular TV programs. As for its specifications, K91 has 1080 pixel IPS display, dual core Snapdragon 1.5 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, and also provided 5 MP camera which supports the technology of facial recognition and motion sensors.
Lenovo claims, which makes K91 different than other products, is the voice control feature that allows us to “ruled” our TV by the voice.
Reportedly, the K91 will first be marketed in China by the end of first quarter of 2012, after that it will be globally marketed.
At CES, Lenovo is also introducing several new products, one of them is a IdeaTab S2 tablet whose design is similar to Asus Transformer Prime, it equipped with a keyboard dock hardware.
n addition, there is also a smartphone S2 that uses the Android operating system. Unfortunately, Lenovo does not provide pricing information for their three products.
Lenovo also intend to create a Personal Cloud services, both free and paid.
